Thank you for your assessment of BetterHelp -- I am suggesting something more sinister that is happening here in the United States of America --- in view of what I have experienced in the Crisis Help Services Industry. I am doing my due diligence here. Facebook has started to route content based on my current activity -- and WHOPSIE DAISY - BetterHelp SPONSORED ad comes into my view -- So I placed a comment into the ad -- I really did not read the other comments yet. I am -- yes I am -- seeking something of substantial help - I am in a view of consideration untreatable in view of my unique perspectives and uniqueness in general -- to be myself and not compromise .I was on CrisisTextLine on Christmas -- I shut out all of the family here -- I am fed up with the lies, cheats, and steals from everyone everywhere -- I am completely amazed to the level CrisisTextLine has placed themselves to be hiding - The Board of Directors I reached up to. I Picked One from a set of Directors, especially only because she had her own website -- so that I could pass a message through via WEB FORM Submission -- that is a transit outside of email. I have to consider that there is outside interference [ CONTENT SUPPRESSION ] with my emails. I am not sure what. I have been reaching out for more than 5 years into trying to find someone in civil society to talk to. A problem that is seriously affecting the mental health of my life. Moreover, expands well beyond myself. You will find that I have one of the most unique cyber Identities to ever exist on our planet -- my links are quite real and quite shocking to consider. There is no doubt, there is a bias that takes this out of realism that what should be a CRISIS level situation -- where indeed the counselors should be trained to a certain sensitivity of communications between the screens -- the service itself made me feel worse. They cut me off as a PRANK! The other site called me some kind of out of the COUNTRY --Cut me off ---- I have been cut off from CrisisChat services much to my insult =- could lead to pushing my need to find something instead of suicide. When I contacted the Board of Directors in this view -- I had already been exposed to a site that had a ranking of the service in the 1s. And that of the 40 reviews on that site, it would be apparent something strange is happening. Just like BetterHelp seems to be operating. In that a name is a name, not so BEST is it -- In your video review here, you are attempting to give the service the benefit of the doubt, that they must be having success if they are operating in this way. That would be a for-profit service I guess --- but in the case of CrisistextLiine, at a non-profit level of service, a suggestion -- a plan -- a justification for why law enforcement ignores the damaging that is occurring. I can only think BAD when BAD IS REALLY BAD. Tik Tok in my view -- breaks the glass all to hell --- SOMETHING SINISTER IN ALL OF THIS DearDes -- SOMETHING SERIOUSNESS and we CITIZEN'S ARE BEING FOOLED that we should not actually be taking up ARMS [ WEAPONS ] to whom is attacking our citizenry -- our country's ENEMY! “If” this person was actually a licensed clinician then this is considered abandonment and negligence of a patient. If you were in an office setting you could report him to the board or the insurance company. Therapists are human beings, often not seen as such, so once in a blue moon MAYBE an emergency occurs such as illness, death, family emergency, etc. however in your case to have it happen 3 times in a row is negligent and a malpractice concern because you as the patient are in a position of vulnerability. You deserved to have and STILL deserve an authentic experience with therapy and I hope this has not set a foundation of mistrust for you in the future for all Therapists.....and yes I’ve been a therapist for 26 years so I’m speaking from an area that I have knowledge in. I’m so so sorry you went through this experience and were let down and betrayed.

Had a counselor that I was liking (though I felt she didn't respond very fast) and she no-showed on our first live session. Tried another counselor and they told me that BetterHelp only allows for "four 30-min sessions per month". It literally says UNLIMITED on all the available plans. Her next available live session (the new person) wasn't for another 2 weeks. Then I'd have 1 MAYBE 2 sessions for the whole month I paid almost $200 for. Ridiculous.

It's amazing you made a video like this! Big Youtubers even biggest Youtubers like Shane are just taking the money and reading a script of how great and fantastic BetterHelp is. I have a strong feeling most of those big youtubers haven't even tried it out. Great job on being honest to your fan base and not misguiding them for a sponsorship

All of my favorite ASMR people have plugged this service. One glance at reviews of the service made me immediately suspicious. Who has that many 5-star reviews and 1-star reviews with no reviews in the middle? Lots of complaints about therapists not showing up/responding and about the company charging more than agreed upon. Anyway, I wish this video had more views. People shouldn’t be supporting this website :/

Good job girl! Way to call these bozos out! They are not professional and will end up doing more harm than good. I hope your video will help others understand how important it is to find real professionals when dealing with mental health issues.

I'm glad you made this video... found it because I went specifically looking to see if anyone else had any unpleasant experiences. I tried the trial too, and while I got more interaction than you did, it was mostly just questions like "have you tried meditation" and links to various articles I could easily googled on my own. Then the trial ended. Not really a whole lot to make me think it'd be worth it to give them money for anything...

You're an incredibly trustworthy person let me just say that. You had the balls to decline that money when you're a small youtuber because they weren't really helping people. They've gotten a lot worse from what I've seen too. If I were to trust anyone on mental health things it'd be you.

This literally is a common experience with their service. I went through two different therapists on the app and both were just unprofessional. One literally would miss appointments all the time and act like it was no big deal. I was not treated like a priority what so ever. The final straw with her was that we had an appointment setup for suicidal ideation and she didn’t show up. No explanation and acted like it was no big deal. So I switched therapist. The second therapist I was paired with was pretending like she knew what PTSD was but truth was she had never dealt with it and had no idea what it was. After that I quit better help all together. There service is trash and should not be used.

What a disheartening experience - do you get a refund for the week or weeks of your therapist keeps cancelling? What happens if your therapist cancels for an entire month...do you still have to pay?
